CHRISTIE PODIOTI
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Christie Podioti is a print maker/illustrator/graphic artist and combines different kinds of work, specializing in children illustrations and graphic design and expressing herself though printmaking, freehand drawing and abstract painting, using lots of color and translating textures into images.
With 6 years of commercial experience, she has worked on several illustration commissions and has exhibited extensively in and outside London.
Finally and most importantly, she always thinks outside the box, with great enthusiasm, passion and dedication .

EDUCATION & BIOGRAPHY: In 2000, after having finished her studies in Graphic Design, Illustration, Freehand & Architectural Drawing in Athens, Greece, she moved to London, to receive a BA (Hons) in Typo/Graphic Design and Illustration at the London College of Printing. That was when she started experimenting with printmaking techniques, which she loved and continues practicing until now, at her screen printing studio in East London.
